When I scan something on and it comes back with a multitude of bad results, I know it's bad. Sounds pretty terrible but, personally, I think it's ok.

I hope it's the nature of ModAPI causing this flag as Jamesfle mentioned. I have other scanners on my pc monitoring in real time and they never find any malicious activity in the background. Comparing the information from researching the backdoor with the trojan found by WD, I believe they are one in the same. So I dropped the modapi-2018_05_13_12_22_20.zip from the official ModAPI website into and every single scanner came back clean except 1, an ad-aware scanner called Ikarus, it found "".
